Who we are

GetMoreCharters ("we", "us"), operated by William Travis Simmons DBA GetMoreCharters, operates a booking and CRM platform for fishing charter operators, including Don Chingon Charters. This policy explains what we collect from customers who book charters through our platform or a partner operator's page.

What we collect

• Contact info you provide when booking: name, email address, phone number.
• Booking details: trip date, party size, boat/operator selection, notes to the captain.
• Payment information processed by our payment provider (Stripe). We do not store your card number.
• Basic device and log data (IP address, browser type) for security and abuse prevention.

How we use it

• To create, confirm, and manage your booking with the operator.
• To send transactional messages (email and SMS) about your booking. See our SMS Terms.
• To process payments and issue receipts or refunds.
• To provide customer support and respond to your messages.

Text messages (SMS)

If you provide a mobile phone number and check the unchecked SMS consent box when booking, we send text messages about your charter: quote and booking confirmations, payment reminders and receipts, pre-trip details, marina or meeting instructions, weather changes, driver pickup updates, replies from our support team, and occasional rebooking offers for opted-in past guests. Messages for Don Chingon Charters are sent from +1 (877) 317-3910 via GetMoreCharters. SMS consent is optional and is not a condition of booking. Message frequency varies by booking; message and data rates may apply. We never sell or share your mobile number or your SMS consent with third parties for their marketing. Reply STOP at any time to stop all messages, START to resume, or HELP for support. Full details are in our SMS Terms.

Sharing

We share booking details with the charter operator you booked with. We use service providers (Stripe for payments, Twilio for SMS, an email service provider, Supabase for hosting) to operate the platform. We do not sell your personal information and we do not share your phone number or SMS opt-in with third parties for their own marketing.

Retention

We keep booking records as long as needed to provide the service, comply with legal obligations (tax, accounting), and resolve disputes. You can request deletion of your personal data by contacting us.

Your rights

Depending on where you live (including under GDPR and CCPA), you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or export your personal data, and to opt out of certain processing. Email getmorecharters@gmail.com to make a request.

Cookies

We use strictly necessary cookies and local storage to keep you signed in and to remember your preferences. We do not use advertising cookies.
